Investigation of wireless hybrid communication system reliability under external influences

The transitional mode of the hybrid communication system functioning that includes two wireless information channels operating in optical and millimeter wavelength ranges is considered for the first time. For this purpose the accurate analytical method for analyzing the transient behavior of the hybrid system in the operating mode and in the case of failure of the channels is proposed. The method allows investigating the case of periodical man-made radio influence also. The expressions for reliability indicators and performance metrics of the hybrid system are presented for the first time.
